Description

A modern rebuild of my long‑running portfolio, now powered by Next.js 15 and React 19. The legacy HTML/CSS/jQuery site with a tri‑fold ‘book’ motif has been re‑implemented as a client‑friendly 3D UI in React, with an automatic safe‑mode fallback for older/low‑power devices. Content is managed in Strapi and delivered through locale‑aware routes with a compact language switcher and flag icons. Media is displayed via a custom‑styled Fancybox lightbox, and the work grid uses Isotope for smooth filtering and layout. Deployed on AWS Amplify with a small serverless layer (Lambda + DynamoDB + SSM) for build‑time/runtime caching and configuration, keeping pages fast and resilient. The result is a responsive, retina‑ready, internationally localized showcase that preserves the playful magazine‑cover home while embracing a modern stack and deployment.
